Founded in 2018 by bassist Joel McGee, the 'Minister of Thunder", Crimson Steel has emerged as a prominent name in the New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal (NWOTHM) and U.S. Power Metal (USPM) scenes. Drawing inspiration from bands like Judas Priest, Dio-era Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Savatage, Crimson Glory, and early Queensrÿche, Crimson Steel combines classic heavy metal with progressive elements to create a distinct THM sound.
The Minister of Thunder, now joined by guitar virtuoso David "Shredder" Ryan, powerhouse vocalist Tina Langevin, and progressive drummer Will Adkins, has a solidified lineup that delivers intense, live performances captivating audiences across multiple genres.
