Founded in 2018 by savage-wizard bassist Joel McGee, Crimson Steel has emerged as a prominent name in the New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal (NWOTHM) and U.S. Power Metal (USPM) scenes. Drawing inspiration from bands like Judas Priest, Dio-era Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Savatage, Crimson Glory, and early Queensrÿche, Crimson Steel combines classic heavy metal with progressive elements, creating a distinct THM sound. With prog guitarist David Ryan, powerhouse vocalist Tina Langevin and intricate drummer Will Adkins solidifying the lineup, Crimson Steel delivers intense, live performances that captivate fans across multiple genres.
